Great fight but there's no way Henderson should've won by majority decision on all 3 judges scorecard. This fight should've been a draw....Shogun got robbed.

BULLSHIT!!! Any other ref would've stopped the fight in the 3rd round when Dan knocked Shogun down and rained down a barrage of ground and pound. If anything round 3 was a 10-8 for Hendo, but it should've been stopped there.

shogun lost i agree.. he didn't do enough in the last round and a half to give him the win or the draw.
I would have given this fight a draw. Henderson was doing a lot better the first few rounds but was getting destroyed the last 2. Definitely want to see a rematch.

i dont think hendo did enough in the 3rd round to get a 10-8 but i can also see a debate. he ALMOST finished but shogun came back to get a TD. a 10-8 should only be used in a blowout round were the round loser mounts 0 offense at all. great fight either way hendo vs jones/machida winner should be next

WTF?!hendo was robbed in the fourth round,should have been a draw..there's no way shogun won that round,his punches are weak that can't even knock an exhausted 41 year old man..and hendo even took the advantage on the ground fight!yes he won the last round,connecting powerless punches..shame on you shogun,got your ass badly beaten by a 41 year old!!you should retire and never dream on challenging 'bones' again..

Theres a lot of retarded people in here. The fight should of been a draw. But its MMA judges suck. N for those of you that say shogun should of turn up the heat and thrown more power in his punches. how the hell do you expect someone to do so much damage when they themselves are still recovering. everyone knows dan has great power in his punches and he couldnt even knockout shogun. he said in a interview later that he hit him harder and cleaner than anyone in the past and still couldnt knock him out. Hendo won 3 round and Shogun won 2. I don't know how, but yes the 3rd was a 10-8 round (Dan), but I do see how the 5th was a 10-8 round (Rua). The fight did go to Dan. For the people complaining I say look at the Aldo Vs. Hominick (Aldo won 3 rounds, but Hominick won the 5th by a 10-8 round) If Hominick/Rua would have stopped Aldo/Dan we wouldn't be having this discussion. Great fight regardless, but the decision was justified. I've seen a lot closer fights (Rua Vs. Machida I, Rampage Vs. Forrest ect) with worse decisions. Can't wait for a rematch. I'd personally like to see Rampage Vs. Rua, and IMO I believe Rampage beats this day and age Shogun.

There wasn't any 10-8 in my humble opinion; neither the third one for Hendo, nor the fifth one in favor of Shogun. That happens when a fighter gets raped during five minutes withouth the chance of defending himself or improving his situation but, for instance, in the last round Hendo could have kept throwing punch after punch even on his back, constantly trying not to be entirely beaten up. If you think that round deserved a 10-8, you have little idea about the sport..
For me it was a slight but fair 48-47 for Hendo (three first rounds)

Can't believe a lot of people here a talking about Rua winning... I mean look at him after the fight. Hendo won 3 rounds including the near bulldozed round 3. I guess the fight should have stopped there. Most of the refs would stop the fight seeing Rua being destroyed like that. Rua won 2 exhausted rounds with only few clear shots. No one got robbed. Hendo wins clearly.
I think it just seemed like Rua might have won because he won the last rounds. I can honestly say that I wouldn't have argued no matter who won. It was a great fight and could have gone either way. I'm glad it went Hendo's way though.
the case for a draw is reasonable i think, given hendo did absolutely nothing in the last round. but i'd still give it to hendo. if there was another round i would've given it to shogun, but there wasn't another round.
