that was an amazing transition by both guys and one heck of a finish with the kimura. Nogueira had him hurt regardless of what Frank wants to say or admit- he was hurt from a good right hand & follow up left jab that wobbled him BUT minotauro didnt follow up with a head kick or knee when Mir bent down to shoot for a desperate takedown. When in the moment who can blame Nog for not notcing the opening there- i only saw it with the help of replays and benefit of watching this fight twice. Nog put a good fight and almost rolled out of the kimura hold but eventually gave up the needed position for mir to finish. That was hard to watch when he hyperextended his arm-shoulder, its like watching a predator grab a prey item and attack! survival of the fittest Jiu-jitsu wise
frank mir is truely a a**hole in my eyes. yes nog should have tapped but u can see the satisfaction mir has after he realized be broke his arm. i dont blame him to breaking the arm but a good person would feel bad for having to do so
If the ref had not interrupted Nog by telling him to watch punching the back of the head, the fight might have ended right there. Mir was turtled up and out of it. Instead Nog stopped punching which allowed Mir to recover enough to grab a leg.
if someone almost knocked you out and then u had a chance to break his arm you would do it to, and wouldn't feel bad, cause Nogeria would do the same to him. No feelings, its a competition. What a geat win for mir. He was to relaxed though.
fuck you all keyboard warriors!!
i hope he does this to cain
frank showed the heart that people say he doesn't have in this one.. he was almost out cold then almost choked before turning the tables.. and the way he gained side mount.. looked like a lightweight.. most impressive
"frank mir is truely a a**hole in my eyes"Such an asshole, beats your idol Nog twice in a row, never says a bad thing about him and always manages to praise Nog even after beating him in devastating fashion. While all Nog does is give minimal (if any at all) praise to Mir for either of those victories, while constantly conjuring up excuses for why he lost.. First it was staph, now it was Herb Dean warning him not to hit the back of the head...I think we all know who the real asshole is in this situation
Its not that Noguiera is bad at juijitsu. It's just that frank is too big, and noguiera isn't strong enough to fight frank's weight off. Good fight though
Hope Noguiera learned the lesson, next time he will capitulate at an earlier stage than he did here.
he only need to tapout
