at least miller wants to fight exciting and not dryhump an opponent for 15 minutes to gain some points...I don't mind watching ground game but only you you want to submit or throw bombs..but just try to hold the other guy down sucks
Man I hate this crap, on every site people are condemning CB for actually trying to win doing whatever it takes. Getting hugged is part of the game, and a part of a UFC competitor's skill set is to get out of holds and/or reverse them, but mayhem didn't do anything. If what CB did was illegal the ref would've stopped him but he didn't. Miller deserves what he got. If he doesn't want to be hugged he should've went to K1, though I don't think anybody would want his sorry ass now. "I'm in the best shape of my life" a statement uttered by your dear mayhem twice before his 2 recent losses. Even I'm embarrassed for him. I hope I never see him on TV again. There are better fighters that deserve a shot on internationally covered fights than him.
@frig_en_dig jeah if you want to pay for someone who is famous to hug someone 3 rounds have fun but normal people won't..if you just want to win by points go and play tennis or so.....boooring cb
What CB did was a valid strategy in the UFC. If you're so sick of it go complain to dana that the rules suck. This match was boring, but what CB did wasn't wrong and he got the win which is what matters.
@frig_en_dig it matters only that you win? mhhh if no one cares if you fight among fans and you are seen as a boring fighter then your not really marketable which is also important for the UFC...so I rather watch a thousand fights of pat barry where he loses half of the fights instead of 1000 wins by dryhumping from guys like CB and a lot of fans see it the same way...I say it again I don't care if it goes to the ground but at least you need to try to finish the fight...CB didn't do that pahhhhh
4:21 AM said it perfect. A fighter should look to finish his opponent, and if it goes to a decision, its only due to the perseverance of his opponent, and still an honorable victory. If the UFC could have its way there would be no judges or 15-25 min time limits. But they have to be sanctioned by the NSAC for legitimacy as a sport, whom impose those limits. In my armchair fighters opinion, CB's fight embodied a fear of losing, not a desire to stop Miller. Hardly something I'm interested in watching. Plus, that nuggie was HILARIOUS!
Mayhem's stand up still amazed with that "busted knee. I personally think it would have been different if he didn't have a knee problem and got his knee checked out,before the fight.
Another example of unified rules being broken and clearly favoritism for this style being ok. I love MMA it has different many cups of teas you like and this tea is not my cup.
Dollaway should be ashamed of himself for laying and praying the whole time without even TRYING to attack until the last minute. If you're fighting a one legged man in an ass kicking contest, why are you grinding out a decision victory? He was also clearly head butting Miller in round two and it started to look intentional after a while.
If he just wants to hump another man for 15 minutes, he's missing his true calling, gay porn.
The ufc is killing mma it favors wrestlers I'm not hating on wrestler's but it's true i think the should prohibit elbows like pride fc rules. Cb is a punk that's not real mma if you watch pride fc bouts most wrestlers that miss takedown attempt they get soccer kick to head jmma is better if there's elbows allowed then they should allow knees to head while on ground and head kicks and stomps so if a wrestler based fighter just wants to take you down all 15 min and you stuff takedown or he miss you could knee or soccer kick the bastard for trying to hug all day im glad jds who is a real mma fighter has his way with wrestlers Dana must hate that no one has been able to take him down lol Jose aldo Andersen silva are real mma fighters thats my opinion
