I have MUCH more respect for vera after watching this. He def is able to hang with the best in the division. But should he have taken on this fight after being out for so long? I mean he would have been stupid to not except the opportunity dana gave him with this fight but I think it would have been in his favor to get a couple wins under his belt before he went for a title shot. All in all great card would have been happy with my purchase had this been on ppv.

Koonta, Vera is Filipino U Clown! A fighter's success it not based on race! It just so happens that the Brazillians are doing really well right now.

well actually between shogun and vera, shogun is the white man. in brazil you have many former europeans who went to live there. shogun probably has white portuguese ancestors. on the other hand you also have black people in brazil like anderson silva whos ancestors are probably black africans brought to brazil by the portuguese when slavery was still legal.

Hey, Koonta, Vera is Filipino you retard! And Shogun is white, fucking idiot. Besides, Vera fought hard. He will move into title contention after this fight, and like always, Shogun fought like a champion. Neither man has anything to be ashamed of here.

Koonta failed in his assessment here. Vera is half white, and shogun is Italian and Portuguese (white) living in Brazil so there you go. Not only that, but many Brazilians, including JDS, are ethnically Portuguese which makes them white.
hmm. maybe thats a good angle dana white could use. brazilians are actually white! it does nothing for the fact they are still foreigners who often speak little to no english but it's a start.
most of the time i'm just looking for a reaction from you guys. i'm actually most attracted to black & hispanic women. but most the women in my mobile home park are taken anyway.
still, it makes me mad when foreigners win at any sport. and probably many others. the brazilian takeover is going to lead to less americans being interested in the ufc. i'm counting down the days til there are no irish/scottish/english fighters in the entire UFC. it's just a matter of time.

i was wondering when someone would copy my name. theres a few problems with this tactic.
#1 you made the name Koonta link to some site. something me(the real koonta) has never done.
#2 in order to make yourself appear to be me you have to copy my message. therefore spreading said message. which is my goal.
#3 the 1st paragraph youwrote is too inconsistent to be believable.

Shogun is losing his touch, he's still an amazing fighter and one of my favorites. But to struggle against Vera, is Vera even top 10?
