minority vs foreigner. uh oh. i wonder what white/american/english speaking fans were thinking during this fight. i'm sure the racist among mma fans were hoping a great white hope comes along to take out all there foreigner/minorities. subconsciously many yearn for it. or at least would become HUGE fans of his should he arrive.
more interesting then the fight itself though is that rampage is being kicked to the curb after this fight by the UFC. I bet many a white/american/english speaking fan is celebrating this. i mean he is the guy that sent their hero chuck liddel's career into a death spiral.
Koonta: A true fight fan wouldn't have that cross their mind to begin with; they only care about what you do in the ring. For someone who seems very worried about racial bigotry and discrimination you seem to make a lot of gross generalizations about a group for which you have absolutely nothing to back up your claim with. You have issues, it's very obvious, no one mentally healthy spends that much time trying to think up the completely irrational /hate/ that another group might/could be thinking of. Maybe seek some help or seek higher education.

Don't mind Koonta. Every few weeks a new UFC happens and the new vids get posted here and he waits in anticipation to write his faux racist comments and gets 5 minutes of attention.

no white people care about this sport anymore. it's dead. we need chuck liddell, randy couture & tank abbott to come back from retirement. they were the only REAL fighters this sport has to offer. and they could STILL beat 99% of the UFC roster.
but the fights are fixed anyways.
rampage just cashed out for that extra money. and we all know that dana white wants to increase his ppv sales in mexico. that's why glover won this fight. not that i care at all who wins anymore.

Sadly Rampage isn't the same fighter anymore, He only won two fights out of his last 6, one was a win over Machida which was controversial. The second win was against Matt Hamil.

At least Rampage went out with the kind of fight he wanted. Now he can go make coin on tv or whatever. He'll always be one of the greats, but it's time to hang it up.
i really dont think so koonta, Dana is not fixing fights.. dont trip... but iIdo see some reason in what u say, ppl do tend to cheer to ppl they can identify with. Im white, and I'm brazilian, and I wont lie, i do tend to cheer to brazilians, specially the white ones. BUT still, my favorite fighter is Rory Macdonald, and i belive thats because im young, hes young (and awesome)... but that doesnt explain why i decided to cheer to faber, instead to barao. Is cause i like faber's personality. So let me tell u my own conclusion: Race does influence a little bit to who u cheer for. BUT nationality does influence more. And yet, this are not the determinants, they aint even that important, is more like a bonus u know, specially the race, the nationality has more influence... but even nationality is not THAT determinant. So, even u been a racist xenophobic crazy dude, sometimes u do make some sense... but not that much. I know i already posted this, but i just wanted koonta to see it, and if i have it on all major pages theres a bigger chance... though i might be just feeding the troll... who knows.

i realize that it's a controversial subject... but i've been right all along. you should read my writings if you want to have a better grasp of what the ufc is going to look like in the future. ufc will die in america because of dana white & the fertita mafia fixing fights in favor of the target demographic.
but the foreigners/minorities will continue to buy into it just like pro wrestling. they're suckers.
@Koonta. Do you always write just about minority, foreign vs white? Are you suffering some racist problems? Naturally this is a sport(Americans just made from MMA a show.) and in sport there is no place for racism. Apropo basically USA have no history. Nearly all people there are foreigners. I'm white and never have been watching a fight and thinking that this black man deserves some cheap shots or to loose. My favorite fighters are foreign/black/black&white people. But there are some fighters that I like to see getting beaten or KOed - trashtalkers, dick heads like Diaz brothers,... people with no honor, respect to others. The same people like you my friend.

Koonta you should know if u were a martial artist that race has nothing to do with success and power. MMA is about working fucking hard and enhancing one's techniques and power. Talent is a major factor and work, anybody can achieve that if he is very dedicated...
I found Rampage very good tonight, well prepared, took it very seriously sending some great kicks but he was ouclassed by Texeira, he's very technical, so powerful, he's a beast, Jon Jones get ready, that will be the challenge of ur young career. To me Texeira should improve his kicking though, he's too focused on punches... Cheers
